Terra do Sol Agrícola produces high quality tropical fruits in 1900 acres on Santo Antônio´s farm alongside Paraguaçu river nearby Itaberaba City. The Israeli irrigation system is used in 700 acres of the farm.

The Israeli irrigation system is responsible for the programed lime harvest according the client´s request in any season without the use of any product. This management uses two simple techniques: pruning the plants and “dry stress” accomplished by turning of the irrigation.

The main product of the Farm will always be the Tahiti Lime with its distinctives and excellent features like: fruit sizes between 60 to 150 grams, thin peel, the high BRIX value, much juice and no seeds. The lime planting was made by using our own seedling on rootstocks of Citumello Swingle and “Flying Dragon” and the budding and grafting are made of Peruvian Tahiti plants highly adapted to the region hot and dry climate.

The farm also produces two varieties of papaya fruit, Formosa (Tainnung 01 e Calimosa) and Papaya (Aliance).

The Company has an excellent in local infrastructure with an enclosed packing house, a cold room, used when storage is needed and to export using refrigerated trucks and containers. The cold chain management system begins in the farm as soon as the harvest ends. All this and the planting area are certified by GlobalG.A.P. a farm assurance program translating consumer requirements into Good Agricultural Practice.

After the harvest the Company prioritizes the quality control made in the packing house where the fruits are wash, dry, cover in wax and polish before selection and classification to packaging.
